Our Story

Enchanted Farms is a small family owned dressage farm, located in beautiful
Southern California just outside of Los Angeles. From a very young age my passion has been to spend as much time with my families horses as possible. Our first family horse was my fathers nice old quarter horse mare, Misty she was a great 'Old Soul.' A year or so later, mom and dad started breeding and competing walking horses. After few trips to the National Celebration in Tennessee, mom decided to retire from the competition ring.

Now it was my turn, at the age of five I began riding English in a local quarter horse circuit and had a lot of fun. After a few years I moved on to a Hunter Jumper barn were I learned a lot but never felt at home. At the age of eleven my dad introduced me to a local dressage trainer where I started taking lessons on Saturdays. After two months it became two lessons a week then three and eventually full time and we never left.

When I turned fifteen we purchased our first Hanoverian mare "Ashante," over the years she really taught me to ride from second level through FEI. In 1998, we placed in the top five individually and a team bronze medalist at Cosequin Junior Championships, Los Angeles, California. In 2000, Ashante and the Family travailed to Parker, Colorado for the 2000 North American Young Rider Championships. Individually we placed in the top ten and received a team silver medal for Region 7.

In the fallowing years we continued to train and compete in some of the biggest shows on the west coast. In the fall of 2003, we purchased a young Hanoverian gelding fresh off a plane from Germany, as my next dressage horse to bring along. March of 2004, I was selected to ride in New Zealand at their National Dressage Derby. As a family we spent two weeks in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the people were all so friendly and welcoming we felt very much at home. A year later we decided to breed Ashante via embryo transfer so we can continue to train and show.

Now a few years later my dedication to the sport has only grown stronger. Our goal is the development of a great relationship between horse and rider through breeding quality dressage horses. From time to time we also have horses for sale, varying in age and the amount of training. Please keep checking back for our Farm up dates.
